This set includes two outfits that would work this fall in the office. The first one has a bright yellow skirt from J.Crew that keeps the outfit fun and some Prada shoes. DC dressing involves a lot of understated dressing and closed toed shoes. Always. In this case the closed toe makes them great to transition to autumn and winter.
The other outfit is slightly more conservative but still is trendy with the tweed skirt (also from J. Crew) and Cole Haan shoes. These have a slightly smaller heel but also work for fall and a winter sans snow.
But what most DC women learned long ago is that shoes are a woman's best friend. They are one of the few items that can really show personal style in the office so I couldn't resist polyvoring some of the Christian Louboutin shoes which I would give several fingers to be able to wear to work.
From top to bottom, left to right: Elisa Pumps, Penny Girl Loafers, Annees Folles 140, Relika Platform Shoe, Platform Slingbacks, Rolando Platform Pumps, Pigalle 120, Bianca 140, Declic 90.
Thanks to Polyvore for the images!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! This is a great post -- I am in LOVE with the Relika platforms. xo
