Topshop Shoes Autumn Wishlist

Making a wishlist for actual clothing items from Topshop is fairly useless for me because the items cost more in the States (boots for $180 or £106 that go for £90 in Europe) and I don't want to pay for shipping. Also in Prague, I get a nice 10% off every purchase as long as I show them my student ID. But I know that by the time I get back for classes and such, many of the items I like won't be there anymore or they won't have my size.

For shoes however, the Topshop in Palladium doesn't seem to run out quickly and they tend to have size 36 or 37 European (a size 3.5 or 4 UK) for longer periods of time than Zara or Mango. I'm attributing this to Topshop's shoes generally costing a bit more than the other two retailers and the priced being more out of reach for most Czechs or at least more of an investment piece for a season. After all, the minimum wage in the Czech Republic for full-time employees over the age of 22 is only 8.000 CZK a month. That comes out to approximately $445 a month and $5340 a year. A pair of shoes at Topshop can easily go for 2.100 CZK.

The point of all of this is that if I make a list of shoes I like now, more likely than not, at least one pair will still exist in my size and preferred color. At 10% off. So off we go:

Ally Shoe Boots ($160, £80 , 2400 CZK)
Prima Sling Clogs ($160, £80 , 2400 CZK)

Damage Buckle Hi Leg Boots ($180, £90 , 2700 CZK)
Damsel Knit Lined Work Boots ($180, £90 , 2700 CZK) - these I'm not sure if I want in black or brown. Either way, they look so cozy!!

Obviously I'm not buying all of these. I love shoes and all but that's a bit much. But here's hoping I get at least a pair or two when I get back!!

Note: I'm not linking the products because the links work only for the American OR the English site, there is no link that will work regardless of what region you have chosen.

Note 2: To show how off the American prices are - £80 converts to $127, not $160. That's a crazy price difference. Particularly if you add the 10% off in Prague - £72 converts to $114.

Thanks to Topshop and We Heart It for the images.

  2. Thanks for the comment! And if I could stick with ankle boots or sandals all winter I would in a heartbeat. Unfortunately Prague gets incredibly icy and coooold!
